The Tree

The Tree

A triolet

His Tree stands six foot four and shades
The ashen ground and rose in bloom.
As songbirds sing in woodland glades
His Tree stands six foot four and shades
A son from life's pernicious ways
For life goes on beyond this room.
His Tree stands six foot four and shades
The ashen ground and rose in bloom.

. . .
