The Hideaway is our fabulous bolt-hole which we let out to others when we can’t be there. It is a three-bedroom fisherman’s house that looks out over the North Sea (the photo above is taken from inside the house). It’s wonderful in all weathers. If you are lucky you might see one of these seas…

The orange arrow in the picture below, taken from Fort Point (5-10 minutes walk from the front door), shows The Hideaway’s location, overlooking the bay.

Who'd have thought that through this tunnel there would be a magical little harbour.... Travel north from Eyemouth up to Cove. Park at the small car park and head down on foot.
